Aims & Scope

Journal of Oral and Molecular Translational Medicine (JOMTM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the advancement of translational and interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of medicine and oral sciences. The journal publishes high-quality research that bridges the biological, clinical, and molecular dimensions of health as they pertain to both the oral cavity and the broader systemic environment.

The primary aims of the journal are to:
• Publish original research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical studies, and case reports that advance the understanding of oral-systemic disease relationships and their translational implications.
• Provide a dedicated scholarly platform for interdisciplinary research integrating medicine, dentistry, molecular pathology, immunology, oncology, microbiology, and precision medicine.
• Promote the translation of bench-to-bedside discoveries from molecular and cellular sciences into clinical diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic applications within oral and medical contexts.
• Foster global academic collaboration across institutions, specialties, and geographical regions, promoting diverse and internationally representative scholarship.
• Uphold the highest standards of publication ethics, editorial integrity, peer review rigour, and research transparency, in alignment with COPE, ICMJE, and DOAJ guidelines.
• Provide a structured pathway toward Scopus indexing and, subsequently, Web of Science inclusion, thereby amplifying the academic visibility and impact of published research.

Scope
