As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening editorial quality, publication consistency, manuscript selectivity, and long-term academic development, IJCHMD is currently transitioning from a triannual publication structure to a refined biannual publication model. Volume 2 serves as the journal’s transitional publication year, with Volume 2, Issue 1 published in January 2026 and Volume 2, Issue 2 scheduled for publication in December 2026. Beginning from Volume 3 onward, the journal will officially publish two issues annually, in June and December.
Online-First and Continuous Digital Publication
IJCHMD is a fully online journal and follows an online-first publication model. Accepted manuscripts are not required to wait until the scheduled publication date of the next issue. Following successful completion of peer review, final editorial acceptance, proofreading, production, and publication processing, articles may be published online ahead of the scheduled issue release date.
This model enables accepted research to become publicly accessible in a timely manner while preserving the journal’s formal biannual issue structure. Articles published ahead of an issue are subsequently incorporated into and formally associated with their designated volume and issue in accordance with the journal’s publication schedule.
Accordingly, the journal’s June and December publication schedule refers to the formal compilation and release of its biannual issues and does not prevent accepted and production-ready manuscripts from being published online before those issue dates.
Each issue is expected to include a minimum of five peer-reviewed scholarly articles, subject to editorial quality standards and successful completion of the peer-review process.
As a fully open-access and online-only journal, all published content is permanently and freely accessible online without subscription barriers, supporting equitable global dissemination of scientific knowledge and maximizing research visibility and accessibility. The journal remains committed to maintaining a balance between timely scientific dissemination and rigorous editorial standards to ensure the publication of impactful and clinically meaningful research.
The inaugural volume of IJCHMD received more than 40 submissions originating from five continents, with 15 articles accepted following comprehensive peer review, reflecting the journal’s growing international reach, manuscript selectivity, academic development, and multidisciplinary relevance.
The journal is strategically advancing toward meeting the eligibility, quality, technical, and editorial requirements for inclusion in leading international indexing, abstracting, and scholarly discovery services, including Scopus, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), PubMed Central, Web of Science, and the Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources (ROAD). Inclusion in these services is subject to their respective independent application, evaluation, and selection processes.
